1. Who We Are

Supplee is a web-based tax organiser and bookkeeping assistant for Canadians. We are not a licensed tax preparer or accounting firm. We help you organise your financial information - we do not file anything on your behalf.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Supplee:

• Your name and email address when you create an account
• Financial information you enter - income, deductions, and business data
• Documents you upload - T4 slips, receipts, and other tax documents
• Usage data - pages visited and page load performance, collected through Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, for product improvement

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Supplee service
• To send you important account and deadline notifications
• To calculate estimated tax positions and generate reports
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a Canadian and US-based cloud infrastructure provider. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security practices including row-level security, rate limiting, and audit logging.

5. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent and request deletion of your account and data

To request account deletion, go to Settings → Delete Account, or contact us directly.

Deleting your account removes your profile, earnings, mileage, expenses, and uploaded documents. Security event records (sign-ins, failed sign-in attempts, and similar account-security activity) are kept, since they help us detect fraud and abuse across all accounts, but we remove the link to you specifically: your account reference and email address are stripped from these records at the same time your account is deleted, so what remains cannot identify you.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies only - to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see which pages are visited and how quickly pages load for real visitors. Both are cookieless: they do not set a cookie and do not use any persistent identifier to track you across visits or sites. This data cannot identify you personally.
